DVD Templates not at all ready

I copied over the "DVD Templets" folder from inside "Demo 2012 DVD studio", which is full of Pedestal files. and the DemoReel2012.dspproj.

These DVD menus are not at all what we need. There is no room for buttons, the existing buttons on the main menu are just thrown in, i can't read the text - where is there any evidence of the Principles and elements of design here? Where is there room for 6 thumbnails, for example, in the Animation / Video sections? how about using the grid - not just slapping it in the center?

You don't even have the name "DIGITAL ARTS" anywhere in here! You have to have the title of the piece on every menu page somewhere - larger on the main page, and smaller on the inner menus.

You have to remember that this is an INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE. Look at professional DVD menus. There needs to be consistency throughout - there should be heirarchy, but refer back to the main page. It's not that different from a website- does the design completely change on every single page? NO - it still looks the same throughout.

We needed to see this posted On the blog here for us to see - not that i have to download this from the website. This blog is here so that we can give you immediate feedback.

We are beyond down to the wire, and these menus are completely unacceptable.

Please do what you can tonight to rework these. I need to see the comps. I was never under the impression that there would be one single giant pedestal. in the center with incorrect 3D perspectives - the buttons are not even beveled at the same way as the text which is also different than the pedestal itself. If you can't make the 3D look realistic, then we can't use this concept at all. We are a digital arts department, and it is expected that we understand the 3D virtual world.
